In a recent interview,Ayesha Shroff, Jackie Shroff’s wife, made a startling revelation that Kaif is not Katrina’s real second name. It’s Turquotte.
According to reports, it was Ayesha who re-christened the actress as Katrina Kaif when she made her debut in Ayesha and Jackie’s home production Boom. Ayesha wanted Katrina to have a surname that could be easily accepted by the Indian audience. Turquotte was hard to pronounce and that’s why it was dropped in favour of Kaif.

Katrina Kaif is currently one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. Katrina was born in Hong Kong to a Kashmiri father and British mother.
